The database has been updated to the lastest Item, Box, and Quest data.

Here's a short list of some of the bigger changes from this update:

Lunia is currently down while being updated with a new patch. Some things to expect are Myth 3, the rest of the 4th rebirth-skills, new party system and other UI changes, and myth remakes of old raids.

I will update the item and quest databases later today. As well as post more information when it becomes available.

New "Evolution" potions for CS

An updated fishing guide is online. Not only did I update it for the new system, I added the drop rates for each rod and lots of other interesting information. Even if you're an experienced fisher you should check it out.

Last update I mentioned that the rings from the Wonder Box could push skills past their maximum level. I managed to aquire one, here's what it looks like:

First of all, the database has been updated. Check out the 2 new items.

Some of the highlights for the new Wonder Box:

Skill Point + 1 Card, not a voucher so you can use as many as you can find.
Support Desperate Square, Allows all to play 'Attacks from Cobolts'. Sounds fun.
Blessed Text of Reincarnation, Allows you to rebirth without waiting 2 months.
(True) titled Skill +1 box, Drops rings that give +1 to a rb skill for your class.

An interesting note about the rb skill+1 rings is that they can increase the maximum level of a skill. So you can have level 12 or 13 of a skill that normally only goes to level 11.

Now on to site updates:

The event schedule has been updated to show the times for all the events, fishing, chaos, citadel, etc.

The Experience tables have been updated with new numbers and projections.

Some items like random boxes were showing rediculious percentages for the drop rates. That has been fixed now.

I have a little downtime so I'm going to answer some questions I've been hearing a lot of lately.

Probably the most common one is:

How do you unlock Myth 2?

To unlock myth 2 you need to accept the quest for chapter 5 of the myth story.

To make the quest for chapter 5 appear you need to complete the quests for chapters 1 to 4.

If you already accepted the chapter 5 quest before the update you need to cancel it and get the quest again for myth 2 to be unlocked.

Also, if you threw any of the chapters away, don't worry, you do not need to do the quest that requires chapters 1 to 4 to unlock myth 2.

Sorting Out the Myth Equipment

The following is a list of the myth sets, sorted from weakest to strongest, with the location you get them:

Gillan's The Strongest, from Gillan or the Weapon Merchant.
Lunia Incarnation, from Forest of Moon Minions or 10 Soul Quest.
Lunia God,from Floors 1-10 of the Cave of Chaos.

Some Interesting Database Finds

The Lord of Seas' Treasure Chest is the box you can catch while fishing that everyone has been talking about.

The Gift Box of Star has a new item in it, but you're probably more interested in the weekly star gift. The Happy Week Box.

The reward for the new guild raid, the Citadel of Darkness Item Box has some pretty amazing items in it.

The Daily Quest Gold Box and Daily Quest Potion Box are rewarded when doing most of the daily raids.

PvPers are now rewarded in a new way, the Victor’s Box.

A new 1000% exp voucher. How to get it is still a mystery.

These are just a few of the treasures to be uncovered in the database.

I've started a general list of the things we could expect to see in the update. You can read that in my post at ijji.

That list isn't official however, so you should wait for details to be posted in the Update News forum during or shortly after the update.

As promised, I did a database update. The only real change was a fix for some of the item icons that weren't showing properly. Tomorrow's database update should go smoothly, and I'll try to have the new items online within a few hours of the release.

Ijji sprung a new event on us today.

From May 21 at 8:30pm PDT to May 27th 11:00pm PDT, everyone will recieve 50% more experience in stages.

The bonus event experience also stacks with guild and standard experience vouchers. For example, if you have a 50% experience voucher you'll get 125% more experience (1.5 * 1.5).

There's also a few small updates to the site. I've started on the advanced search page for items. It still needs to be cleaned up and some things added but it's a start.

If you're like me, you probably look up the boxes for bonus 1 and 2 at least a couple times a day. To make it a bit easier I've added a Bonus Box Reference.

I plan on updating the database at least one more time before the update hits us on the 27th, so I'll have that up in the next week.

The beginning of the month is always a busy time around the MMOKami guild. Lots of guildmates rebirthing and releveling. Which has kept me pretty busy with stage rushing and lots of Myth.

ijji announced a few updates over the last couple days. The first is the new pet, the Happy/Angel Cat.

The other thing ijji announced was a new fishing system. They haven't provided much details yet, but the update is scheduled for May 27th, 2009 at 11pm PDT.

Some people have been asking which Random Box sets can we expect fortification potions for in the future.

We hopefully will see Rock and Angel fortification potions soon.

As for site updates, these new pets haven't added any new items to the database, but I have a lot of other stuff in the works that I'll try to get online soon.

Yesterday ijji released a few new items in the cash shop. The items they released were already in the database, so no changes there.

Be sure to grab one of the unlimited huskies for 67g coins while they're still available. The bonus Strength +52 and Magic Critical +23.66% is perfect for a myth going Yuki or Dainn.

In other news, I'm working on another little update to the item database that could go online as soon as today so keep checking back.

The first part of today's update is a change in the layout of item information.

This change effects both the Item Search and individual item pages. The goals were to reduce the space item info takes up, group similar properties, and separate equipment stats from item effects.

The other half of the update was to add Stage Clear and Stage Clear Bonus information to the database.

I'll elaborate.

After clearing a stage there is one item you always get as a default. This is the stage clear drop. An example of this is the Legendary Drake's Seal Box.

During the stage clear results you will have the option of selecting between two rewards based on your rank. This is the stage clear bonus. An example of this is the A Grade Bonus Box 1.

Today's update is just a small fix for items that have a max rebirth that they can be used at. An example of that would be the Brave Warrior Rebirth item which can only be used for your first rebirth.

Here are a few more interesting finds in the item db:

The Mandragora's Box can be found by hitting the Mandrakes that sometimes pop up in myth stages.

Crystals of Moon can sometimes contain Endless Rejuvenating Potions.

The chance of getting a 400% Exp Voucher from the Growth Box cs item is 3%.

As you can see the site has undergone major changes. I liked the old black version, but i always felt the text was a bit hard to read. The new site is made to be much more readable and should make it easier for me to update.
The guides have all received a major update. I went through every Lunia guide and made corrections and improvements. All the images have been scaled up from their previous 200x150 thumbnails. Also all the references to items within the guides are now linked to their item page in the database. A good example of all these changes is in the Fishing Guide

Even with the amount of other changes, the part I spent the most time updating has been the Lunia database.

The database is currently transferring from my computer to the web server. It should be online soon, and I'll have a bit more info then.

The first update is that I've updated the database to include the full item data, specifically the effects and buffs of items.

The other major change to the database is the addition of box info. You can now view the items inside a box by clicking the box tab on the item's page. Below the item info you can see the reverse box info, which boxes the item can come out of.

Besides that I've done lots of subtle fixes and improvements to the database and the pages themselves.

Feel free to start browsing the item database. Here's a few to get you started:

Guild Shop Items. As you can see, we're still missing some in the cash shop.
Souls of Moon come in sets of 3 and 1 only.
God of Lunia Boxes are the rewards for the Myth Raid.
Fortification Stones seem to come out of everything don't they?
Remote store items allow to open a store even in the middle of a stage.
This one even allows you to open your bank.

I've been spending a lot of time on Lunia lately. I made a new Yuki, leveled to 70, rebirthed, and leveled it back to 70, all in a total of 2 days. One of these days I'll get around to writing a leveling guide. Until then I have the next best thing, the experience chart for levels 1 to 99.

The experience tables are from the client files, but I had to make some guesses. It should be right, unless some of the multipliers change after level 90. Phenixa's guide was a big help for figuring out the other values, so some credit goes to them. You can find their guide here:

As well as the experience values for character levels, I've included the values for PvP and Specialty levels as well.

The other thing I updated was I added a rebirth stats guide. It has the levels rebirth stat bonuses are given at as well as the number of stats given based on number of rebirths.

If you look closely at the stats given you'll notice it follows the equasion:

rebirths * 2 + 3 = stats

The reason why I have them listed is that's how they're stored in the client files, so if the curve changes somewhere down the line it will be easier to update. Also it's much nicer to just have a table to look it up instead of having to calculate it out.

Lunia servers are currently down for maintenance for a update with Arien as well as some other new things. Official annoucement.

I'll be working on getting the new items online within the first few hours of the update, so check back within a few hours for that.

Over the past few weeks I've been working on preparing an item database for MMOKami.com. The results of that work are finally here as the item database is online, all 50406 items.

When searching for an item the order of the terms doesn't matter. For example searching for "Drake Doll" will give the same results as "Doll Drake".

I tried to preserve the quality of the item icons so I choose to use the PNG format. There are a few things missing however. Mostly elemental resists and item effects on the items. I'll be adding them very soon.

Aside from that, I'll also be working on an advanced search feature as well as uploading and linking the Box Drops/Rates, so check back soon for some more intersting stuff.
I changed around some internal stuff with how the site template was being applied to pages. So don't be surprised if you notice subtle changes.

The compete event schedule is done. I've expanded it to include every time zone (GMT-11 to GMT+12). Now no matter where in the world you are you can know the event times :3
You may not have noticed, but I reduced the font size for the site. Things should fit better now.

Also, all the updates for 2008 have been archived, and this news page is starting to be more organized.

I did some Myth stages for the first time yesterday. At the end of it I completed the quest to get the first chapter of the Myth Story. I figured it was something other players might like to see, especially those who don't plan on getting to Myth at all. So I've uploaded not just chapter one, but chapters one through four of the Myth Story.

Besides that, I'm still working on the new event schedule. I'll try to update it at least once a day.
I removed super organics from the relic clout table. I don't know why I missed that the first time.
